Uganda is a landlocked country located in East Africa. It is bordered by five countries: Kenya to the East, the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west, Sudan to the North, and Rwanda and Tanzania to the south. Uganda is known as the world’s premier primate capital, with diverse landscapes characterized by Savanna grasslands, forests, mountains, and wetlands. Uganda is also famous for being home to the largest population of Mountain Gorillas in the world. Ugandans are known to be the friendliest in the world; their hospitality matches no other.

Rwanda, bordering South West of Uganda, is also a landlocked country. Rwanda boasts of its well-structured, clean, and organized city, Kigali. It is also known for different national parks and habitats for primates like gorillas, chimpanzees, and Golden monkeys. Usually, these accommodations are close to the destinations you plan to visit, while others are located right within, for example, the National Parks. Therefore, it is important to know what type of accommodation suits your budget as well as attractions, interests, or achievements you would like to get out of the safari before booking. MEANS OF TRANSPORT
In Rwanda and Uganda, public means of transport are usually at a small fee and can be carried out freely on your own. However, it can be inconveniencing in terms of time, proximity, coverage, and comfort.  If you are not on a tight budget, having a private, arranged means of transport with a local driver/guide is necessary to navigate the roads to your destination, especially if the areas are far from your intended destination. Notable in both countries is one of the fastest means of transport, commonly known as Boda- Boda. These are rides on motorbikes, quite fast from one destination to another, especially during traffic. They mainly operate within the city centers and the outskirts. They are a bit risky but worth a try.

TRAVEL DESTINATION
Uganda, being the pearl of Africa, is rich in culture,  a wide range of tourist attractions, and with the help of the most hospitable people in the world, navigating this beautiful country makes for a full experience. Uganda is also the prime capital of the world, known to be home to the biggest population of Mountain Gorillas, not forgetting the Source of the Nile.
Rwanda, on the other hand, is the cleanest city in Africa and boasts beauty, safe roads, remarkable tour destinations, and beautiful and graceful people. Some of the highlight activities and stops include Twin Lakes, Gorillas, Kigali city, Canopy walk, and Golden Monkey. When you visit Rwanda without exploring its culture and memorial sites, your visit will not be complete.

In conclusion, these landlocked countries are a buzz for travelers for their rich and distinct cultures, hospitable people, breathtaking views, greenery, diverse wildlife, and beautiful climate all year round, which makes these two beautiful countries a must-visit.
