Your 1 Day Gorilla trekking Rwanda safari, we un-wrap a day adventure to Parc National des Volcanos (PNV) in the North of Rwanda where about 300 mountain gorillas live. You can track gorillas, climb the Visoke volcano, trek the golden monkeys or visit the Karisoke Research Centre, with Dian Fossey the famous primatologists set up, or visit local villages.
Detailed 1 Day Gorilla trekking in Volcano itinerary
You will be picked in Kigali city at your lodge early morning at at 4:00 am after your breakfast by our safari driver-guide. Drive the three hours North of Kigali to Kinigi through Ruhengeri. Enjoy the rolling hills for which Rwanda is well known, approximately driving for 3 hours to the headquarters of the park where your driver-guide will accomplish the necessary formalities for you.
You will meet your ranger guide(s) for a briefing and enter into the forest to begin your day’s activity. After the trekking, and transfer to Kigali, time permitting enjoy city tour including a Genocide memorial site and shopping of African art and craft. With lunch en-route and then transfer to airport for your home flight. End of Services, Meal plan: Half-Board.
