DETAILED 3 Days Gorilla Trekking Bwindi Safari Itinerary
DAY 1: KAMPALA TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
At 6:00 am, after an early breakfast, your tour destination is Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The direction of your long journey follows the Mpigi, Masaka, and Lyantonde roads. Inclusively, you’re visiting Lake Mburo before proceeding to Mbarara. On this interesting adventure, a lot of animal species are expected for viewing, like the zebras, Topi, and Uganda Kobs.
A stopover shall be made at Agip Motel in Mbarara (an hour lunch break). The tourist is to continue with their journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through the Ntungamo and Kabale towns. You will use the Ruhija gate to reach the Gorilla Friends’ resort and composites for dinner.
Day 2: MOUNTAIN GORILLA TREKKING BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
At 6:30 am after breakfast, the tourist is to proceed to the briefing point to attend the ranger’s guide gorilla tracking activities in preparation before entering the park to track for man’s shy cousins. This takes about 7 hours. The strolling exercise through the thick forest tracking the gorillas and meeting them is an interesting experience worth remembering. In accordance, the tourists are allowed an hour with the gorillas before returning to the Gorilla Friends resort hotel for an hour lunch break.
Day 3: Travel Back From BWINDI To Kampal
A return journey to Kampala shall commence after the break; this route course is via Kabale, Ntugamo, Mbarara, Lyatonde, Masaka, and Mpigi districts to Kampala and finally to Entebbe International Airport for your safe flight.
