6 Days Kenya Safari

 

The epic 6 days Kenyan safari will take you to the famous Maasai Mara Reserve home of the Big Five and home of the wonder of the world. Proceed to Nakuru and Naivasha through the Spectacular. When it comes to wildlife and safaris, Kenya ranks top in Africa. You can explore a number of parks and get to sight a wide variety of animals in their natural habitats. Every park is unique and has something different to offer the discerning traveler. Get involved in our amazing safari and savor the splendor of the Great Rift Valley.

Lake Nakuru national park is a premier park and is a sanctuary to the great endangered white rhino and other wildlife including buffalo’s, lions and leopards. The park features the shallow alkaline lake Nakuru. The lake is world famous as the location of the greatest bird spectacle on earth. Myriads of fuchsia pink flamingo whose numbers are legion often feed on the abundant algae in the warm waters. Great Rift Valley to see the pink flamingoes and also have a feel of the Naivasha Hells gate park. It’s lovely East Africa.

Itinerary

Day 1 Transfer from Airport to Nairobi

Day 2: Nairobi – Maasai Mara

Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Naivasha

Day 6: Hells Gate – Nairobi

Day 1 Transfer from Airport to Nairobi

On arrival at Kenyatta Airport, meet your tour planner who will introduce you to your safari driver guide. Receive your tour briefing and Safari vehicle for transfer to your hotel room for rest as you wait for your next day travel. Dinner on this night will be served at the hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi – Maasai Mara

You will be picked from your Nairobi hotel in the morning and drive southwest to Maasai Mara. Have a stopover at the Great Rift Valley View point to have a breathtaking view of the floor of rift valley as you take some rest. Enjoy hot lunch at Narok and thereafter proceed with drive to Masai Mara for an evening game viewing drive in Maasai Mara Reserve. Then check in later for dinner and overnight at Rhino Tourist Mara.

Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve

Full day game drive spent exploring the park in search of the big 5, The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place, this is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture to Maasai Mara. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. Enjoy picnic lunch somewhere in the park. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you will have a guided walk to Maasai village visit then have a walk in the area to
overview the Mara (3hours). After the walk, you will depart and head to Nakuru. You will enjoy hot lunch on the way arrive in the evening for the game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park. In the heart of the Kenyan Great Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru hosts one of the greatest bird spectacles on the planet as hundreds of thousands of greater and lesser pink flamingos’ flock, in blankets of pink, to the water’s edge to feed on the lake’s algae. This is among the most beautiful destinations in Kenya you can’t miss to visit. Dinner and overnight at Lanet Matfam Resort.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Naivasha

After your breakfast depart for a game drive in Nakuru National park. Exit the park at around noon and you will continue to Naivasha with lunch on the way. Arrive for Naivasha and you can enjoy boat ride which your driver guide will assist to organize for you. Dinner and overnight at Taphe Tourist Guest Resort.

Day 6: Hells Gate – Nairobi

After breakfast, you will depart for a visit of Hells Gate and later on return to Nairobi enjoying lunch on the way. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be dropped off at your Nairobi City Hotel/Airport. You can also explore hells gate using bicycles which your driver guide can organize at minimal costs.

Lake Naivasha is the highest of the Rift Valley lakes (at 1884m above sea level). Hugged by grassy banks and shingled with cacti and sand olive trees. The lake extends like a vast sunlit sea. Stand on one side of it and you won’t see the other only clouds of water birds and the pinkened ears of hippos, peeking like submarine periscopes above the surface. Superb starlings, their eyes shine like sequins, flit between the acacia trees.
