Shoebill Safaris derives its name from the shoebill stork, a huge bird native to the swamps and wetlands of central and east Africa, a joy to watch for many birders because of its prehistoric look and exceptional hunting skills. The shoebill can be seen during our Uganda birding tours in Mabamba Wetland in Entebbe, at Ziwa, and in Murchison Falls National Park.
