3 days Murchison Falls Safari takes you to Murchison Falls National Park, one of the most popular visited Uganda’s national parks and one of the largest of its kind. A 3-day visit will reward you with numerous hidden treasures of the wild, such as giraffes, lions, buffalos, elephants, and many more. A boat cruise on the Victoria Nile will reveal to you the mighty crocodiles and the mighty shoebill stork from which our company derives its name. A hike to the top of the falls will be a great way of testing your endurance. The falls are spectacular, making Murchison Falls one of the best and most beautiful parks in Uganda.
Detailed 3 Days Murchison falls Safari itinerary
DAY 1: ENTEBBE-MURCHISON’S FALLS NATIONAL PARK
You will be picked up from your preferred hotel and then driven to Murchison Falls. There are several scenic views as you drive along. Stop over for lunch in Masindi and proceed to arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 2: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
Wake up to a rather early cup of tea or coffee and head to a morning game drive to hunt for early morning hunters and grazers in the wilderness, such as the lions, giraffes, oribis, buffalos, jackals, and elephants, to mention but a few. You may have a chance to come across birds like the Abyssinia ground hornbills, egrets, bustards, and more. After the game drive, return to the lodge for either a full breakfast or lunch, depending on the time of return.
After lunch, the boat cruises to the bottom of the falls. Enjoy the inhabitants of the water, like crocodiles, hippos, and monitor lizards. You will spot several game-like elephants and water birds like the pied kingfisher, not forgetting the mighty shoebill. A hike to the top of the falls is equally rewarding. The view of the falls from above is spectacular. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: MURCHISON’S FALLS- ENTEBBE
After breakfast, begin your journey back to Entebbe. Stop over at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. Lunch and proceed to Entebbe/your dropping point.
