This 6 Days Uganda Safari with Gorilla trekking itinerary will take you through the south western part of Uganda. Quite brief but worth a try if you don’t have much time. It will take you through some of Uganda’s key highlights like the mountain gorillas and a game drive in Lake Mburo National Park will bring you up close to animals like giraffes, zebras, buffalos and a lot more. Queen Elizabeth National Park is worth another park of interest.

DAY 1: ENTEBBE – LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK

Meet your local Shoebill guide and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. Stop over at equator for memorable photography. Afternoon boat trip on Lake Mburo.

Dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: LAKE MBURO N.P- QUEEN ELIZABETH N.PARK

Early morning game drive out of the park for chances of sights of Zebras, Topi, Giraffes, Elephant, Eland, Impala, Buffalo, Waterbuck, etc. For birders, there are several bird’s species along the trails. After lunch transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, possible visit Igongo cultural center depending on the time.

DAY 3: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Early morning game drive, Key species here include the lions, Elephants, Uganda kobs, Bushbucks, Buffalos, warthogs and many more. Afternoon Boat cruise on Kazinga channel. There is a rich life of animal and bird species here. If time allows evening we visit Katwe salt works.

DAY 4: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK – BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST

After breakfast transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, Ruhija side. We shall go through Ishasha sector for chance of tree climbing lions and more game. Lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast morning gorilla briefing and registration at the briefing point. After begin the trek of a lifetime. Meet the forest giants, an experience that will leave you amazed at how the gorillas behave and live. Enjoy moments of the silverback protecting and occasional disciplining of the baby gorillas.

DAY 6: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK- ENTEBBE

After breakfast, begin the journey back to Kampala. Lunch enroute, another stop over at the Equator. Proceed to Entebbe or Kampala. Depending on your schedule, flight back home or dinner and overnight.
