DAY 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda and after finalizing the formalities, you shall be welcomed by your local guide, who will then drive you to your hotel.

DAY 2: ENTEBBE – MURCHISON FALLS

After breakfast drive North West from Kampala to Ziwa
Rhino Sanctuary, Rhino tracking, lunch and proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. Murchison covers 3,840-sq km and has recorded 76 mammal species and over 450 bird species. It lies 619m at the delta and 1,292 at Rabongo Hill. The mean temperature is 0C- high and 21 0C- low. Evening hike, top of the falls and view falls from above, this is a spectacular sight, seeing falls from above.

DAY 3: MURCHISON FALLS

After a rather early breakfast, morning games drive. There are chances of spotting unique African savannah animals like giraffes, Lions, Elephants and several antelopes. Afternoon, we’ll cruise to the bottom of the falls. The falls are rare and magnificent, they are one of Africa’s wonders and a must see for everyone. We of course cannot fail to mention that it’s from these falls that Murchison derives its name. Catch up with pods of Hippos, crocodiles and a vast number of water birds. There are high chances of seeing the Shoebill stock from which our company derives its name.

DAY 4:MURCHISON FALLS – KIBALE

After breakfast we begin our journey to Kibale Forest National Park for yet another exiting adventure. Picnic lunch enroute.

DAY 5: KIBALE

After breakfast, chimp tracking, and meet the rather real cousins of humans’ beings. There is a rich bird life in this forest. If you are a keen birder you will record a reasonably high number of different bird species. Notable are various monkeys that keep tossing from one tree to another as you walk along. Lunch at the lodge, Afternoon visit Tooro palace located just on the outskirts of Fort portal town. Learn the Tooro culture and if possible meet the youngest king.

DAY 6: KIBALE

Fort portal boost of rich cultural sites and beautiful crater lakes that tell of the past history. After breakfast visit the Famous Mabereganyinamwiru and see what the locals call milk that flows from the breasts of a said woman who was thrown in that valley. Visit the various crater lakes and the valleys and here the stories surrounding these areas. Accommodation: Ndali Lodge (FB).

DAY 7: KIBALE – QUEEN ELIZABETH

After breakfast you will drive today to the world-famous Queen Elizabeth National Park, crossing the equator along the way.
In the afternoon, you may have an optional chimp trekking experience in Kyambura gorge and right after visit Lake Katwe a salt lake.

DAY 8: QUEEN ELIZABETH

After a cup of tea or coffee morning game drive to the vast park for any chances of the early hunting cats, herds of elephants, antelopes, buffalos and many more. Return to the camp for a full breakfast, free time, after lunch go for the launch cruise on the famous Kazinga channel where you get to the schools of Hippos, buffalos and a variety of beautiful water bird species like jacanas, fish eagles, Shoebill and pelicans along the channel. DAY 9: QUEEN ELIZABETH – BWINDI IMPENATRABLE

After breakfast transfer southwards to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park through the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth N.P in Ishasha where there are chances of seeing the tree-climbing lions. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is home to the forest giants that are cousins to human beings, the gorillas. This Impenetrable Forest is still one of the best virgin tropical rain forests in East Africa. Keen birders will love this Park too. Accommodation: Silverback Lodge (FB)

DAY 10: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE

After breakfast, briefing, gorilla tracking and if time allows, evening community walk and entertainment around the fireplace by the locals. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is the home to the forest giants that are cousins to human beings, the gorillas. This Impenetrable Forest is still one of the best virgin tropical rain forests in East Africa. Accommodation: Silverback Lodge (FB)

DAY 11: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE – LAKE BUNYONYI

After breakfast proceed to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is the deepest Lake and a perfect place for relaxation. If you are looking for a rather private, secret and romantic place, then Lake Bunyonyi Is the number one stop in Uganda. Optional canoe trip around the lake Accommodation: Birds nest Lodge (FB)

DAY 12: LAKE BUNYONYI –LAKE MBURO

After breakfast begin our journey to Lake Mburo National Park for yet another exciting game like. Lake Mburo boosts of a variety of game including zebra, eland, and impala, which are not common to other National Parks in Uganda. Additionally Lake Mburo has big numbers of waterbuck, topi, buffalo, hippo, duiker, bushbuck, and klipspringer. On a good lucky day you will see oribi, reedbuck, leopard and crocodiles. Evening boat trip on Lake Mburo. Accommodation: Rwakobo Rock (FB).

DAY 13: LAKE MBURO – KAMPALA

You will wake up early and go for a nature walk. You will return to your accommodation for a hearty breakfast. Afternoon horse riding safari or simply have an escorted walking safari. If time allows visit the Ankole cultural village. Learn how cows are milked locally and how milk is churned into butter.

DAY 14: LAKE MBURO

After breakfast we begin the journey back to Kampala. Enjoy the green along the route plus the famous Ankole longhorn cattle. Stop over at the equator for snapshots of a lifetime. Have a chance to be both at the South and Northern hemispheres. There several craft shops here with locally handmade souvenirs. Accommodation: Cassia Lodge (FB)

DAY 15: KAMPALA – ENTEBBE

Morning visit the various cultural sites of Buganda located around Kampala among which include: Kabakas Palace Bulange Mengo, Kasubi tombs and many more. Afternoon transfer to the Entebbe. Check in a hotel and freshen up. Departure back home
