Uganda gorilla safaris
This trip takes you to the best safari destinations especially in
Bwindi to meet with our real cousins the Gorillas.
You will also have a great opportunity to see the tree climbing lions
in the Ishasha sector of queen Elizabeth national park and on a lucky day watch them hunt for food.
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to the Hotel in Entebbe

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
You will be picked by our representative on arrival at the airport, have a short briefing and transfer to the Hotel that afternoon/evening for relaxation, dinner and night stay. At Lakeview guest House Entebbe.
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi
You will set off this day early in the morning and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest National park through Masaka. The journey is 7-9-hour drive depending on the stopovers you make along the way. You will have a stopover at the Equator for a photo moment and proceed to Igongo cultural center for lunch. You will proceed to bwindi thereafter through Kabale as you enjoy great views of the Kigezi hills arriving in the evening hours for dinner at the lodge.
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking
After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters for briefing with other guests about the guidelines for gorilla tracking. You will then be allocated gorilla groups to track and be led into the forest to search for a specific gorilla family allocated to you. This activity takes 30 minutes to three quarters of the day depending on the movement of these apes and the fitness of the group members. You will be allowed to spend one full hour with the Gorillas after finding them, taking memorable pictures of them. Later transfer back to the park headquarters for you tracking certificate as a sign of appreciation to you for supporting the conservation of these endangered apes. Our guide will be there waiting to transfer you to the lodge and if time allows, you will have a community walk to interact with the local people to know how they live their lives.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP
After breakfast, you will depart Bwindi for Queen Elizabeth National park via Inshasha Sector- the southern part of queen Elizabeth national park. Look out for the tree climbing lions in the afternoon after lunch in a game drive. Watch out for the lions resting at the top of fig trees relaxed. You will later drive to the lodge for dinner and night stay in the evening.
Day 5: Morning game drive and boat cruise
After an early breakfast, we will head out for a game drive in the Kasenyi plains in search for mammals including large herds of Elephants, Buffalos, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, Warthogs and several bird species. You will later return to the lodge for lunch and get ready to launch boat cruise at Kazinga Channel. Look out for the schools of Hippos, crocodiles and several mammals coming to cool off the hot weather at the fresh water of the channel. Return to the lodge for dinner and night stay.
Day 6: Departure
You will have breakfast at the lodge and leave for kampala and proceed to the airport in Entebbe for your flight back home.
